River SATLUJ flows in the North, Tehsil Bahawalnagar (District headquarter) is situated in the East. Tehsil Hasilpur of District Bahawalpur lies in the West and the desert of CHOLISTAN, Tehsil Fort Abbas in the South. Total population of Tehsil is 633654. Whereas population of six urban union councils of Chishtian is 132517.
